Melbourne Parks Revealed New Events Centre

Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP), home of the Australian Open Tennis Championship, has for the first time revealed features of its new world-class function and media centre at the Asia Pacific Incentives Meetings & Event (AIME), held in Melbourne on February 18 – 20.

Through an exclusive immersive experience, the features of the new centre were showcased through a series of elements; touching on space, taste, design and exceptional service – all within a monumental white cube.

On arrival, AIME delegates were greeted with Australia’s world famous hospitality, before being guided through the four metre high cube that showcased the centre’s unique perspective and event space. AIME delegates discovered, Victoria’s iconic produce, championed by local culinary heroes, getting a first taste of the unique menu celebrated at the precinct.

Delegates also experienced the vast space of the new centre through a bespoke mirror illusion.

Opening in 2022, M&OP’s new events centre will pay homage to the Australian landscape, and promises to elevate the parks’ capabilities yet again to sit alongside some of the world’s most famous venues.
