Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage (SCTH) announced that the first Saudi Archaeology Convention will take place on November 07–09 at King Abdul Aziz Historical Centre.

Aiming to inform the public about the archaeological excavation and discovery, methods of identifying archaeological objects, the tools used in the excavation process, and the precise drilling method carried out by archaeological explorers in the remote desert areas of the country, the two-day forum will feature events and various shows to highlighting Saudi Arabia’s archaeology.

Organised by SCTH under the umbrella of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cultural Heritage Initiative the convention will be attended by about 30 Saudi-international archaeological teams that are currently undertaking excavations across the country.
