Sharjah Book Authority Takes Emirati Culture to China

Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) had the opportunity to present the Arab and Emirati culture to over 2,500 exhibitors from 93 countries and thousands of visitors from the Far East and the world at the 25th Beijing International Book Fair.

The SBA pavilion offered visitors a vibrant showcase of the cultural features of UAE and Sharjah. It highlighted the emirate’s efforts in spreading knowledge via annual events, under the supervision of SBA, such as the upcoming 37th edition of Sharjah International Book Fair which is set to be held end of October.

“The UAE has strong and longstanding mutual trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations. The first papermaking process was documented in China, thus transferring its rich cultural and cognitive to Asia and the whole world,” expanded H.E. Ahmed Al Ameri, chairman, SBA.
