SCTDA Looking to Attract More Kazakh Tourists

In line with Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority’s (SCTDA) efforts to promote the emirate’s offerings among Kazakh tourists, a delegation from the emirate will be heading to Kazakhstan International Tourism and Travel Fair – KITF 2018 for this purpose.

The Almaty, Kazakhstan-based event is scheduled to be held from April 18 – 20 at Almaty International Exhibition Centre.

SCTDA will utilise KITF’s strategic platform to support its efforts to increase the influx of international tourists to Sharjah by tapping into the Kazakh market.

H.E. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, chairman, SCTDA, emphasised the importance of the authority’s participation in KITF, as it reflects the commitment to make the emirate the ideal family destination.

He added that the participation opens new horizons to support the emirate’s tourism goals by attracting more Kazakh tourists and coincides with the recent decision to exempt them from pre-entry visa requirements to enter the UAE.
