This campaign was the hotel’s first cooperation with Tayf. City Centre Rotana Doha collected several clothes, shoes, and bags from staff and loyal guests, who actively took part in the initiative. According to the hotel, the donation drive was part of their corporate social responsibility programme, which seeks to support initiatives that will make an impact on the lives of vulnerable communities in Qatar and around world.
In general, Tayf receives all kind of donations varying from clothes, shoes, children's toys, home and office furniture, hardware and electronics, jewellery and cars, which are then sold. Proceeds are distributed to projects endorsed by Qatar Charity.
Commenting on future plans, Sena Catak, director, marketing and communications, City Centre Rotana Doha, said, “We are confident that our future campaigns will witness more popularity and higher engagements by everyone.”
