Etihad Aviation Group Marks World Wildlife Day

Etihad Aviation Group marked World Wildlife Day with a series of activities aimed at raising awareness on the importance of preserving the earth’s resources, including wildlife and nature.

The group’s activities, on March 03, took place at various locations, including; Abu Dhabi International Airport, on Etihad Airways flights, and at its headquarters.

In partnership with Abu Dhabi International Airport, air travellers passing through Terminal 3 enjoyed wildlife-themed giveaways and a quiz with educational messages, with a wildlife-themed stand as the backdrop.

Additionally, Etihad’s Flying Nanny cabin crew encouraged young guests to colour wildlife cards and post drawings on social media using the dedicated #Etihad4Wildlife hashtag.

Etihad headquarters’ staff enjoyed themed quizzes, photo opportunities with animal props and purchased World Wildlife Day charity cupcakes. The UAE national carrier also launched an e-learning course for staff explaining how the aviation industry can help prevent the illegal wildlife trade.
