City Centre Rotana Doha Empowering Children with Disabilities

City Centre Rotana Doha, within its community social responsibility framework, recently hosted 20 children from Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities.

The children’s visit fell within City Centre Rotana Doha’s efforts to empower and integrate orphans and children with autism and special needs into Qatari society, and spread awareness concerning their rights and role within the community through activities and events.

During their visit, the children learned how to bake cookies during a cookie making class from the hotel’s team members at Teatro restaurant.

“City Centre Rotana Doha is committed to provide an appropriate environment and interaction opportunity for children, aiming at increasing awareness among society on how to integrate this special category into society, especially [as] such initiatives create bridges of communication and integration between autistic children on the one hand and society on the other,” remarked Martin Kendall, general manager, City Centre Rotana Doha.
