Emirates taps on comedian for new Saudi Arabia campaign

Emirates launched a campaign with a series of short videos specifically targeted to Saudi Arabia, interlacing comedy to address travel’s pain points, while also showcasing its economy class experience.

Comedian Badr Saleh draws on experiences that almost every Saudi traveller can relate to, dated in-flight movies and programmes, keeping children entertained, and missing their favourite programmes while travelling.

The campaign will run digitally as well as across Emirates’ official social platforms; YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.

Emirates has been flying to Saudi Arabia since 1989, currently with 84 flights a week via four gateways; Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Al Medinah Al Munawarah.
