Saudi Commission of Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) is offering a set of rare glass and ceramic utensils dating back to the first millennium BC.

Found in Al Fau archaeological village, which is located about 700 km south-west of Riyadh, the artefacts are believed to have been imported from major manufacturing centres such as Alexandria and Bagram in Afghanistan.

Highlighting the development and richness of the past civilisations of the Arabian Peninsula the objects will be part of the relics of Roads of Arabia exhibition that will be at the forefront of the First Saudi Archaeology Convention which will take place on November 07–09.
