In a bid to improve the well-being of its residents, Sharjah Urban Planning Council has launched the Sharjah Waterfront Bicycling and Jogging Path project, a 27km track that will ultimately link Ajman and Dubai via Sharjah city.

With the Al Majaz Waterfront selected as the project’s first location, the initiative included the development of a continuous series of paths along the coastline, serving as the foundation of a multi-phase network of routes across the city.

This reflects the emirate’s urban development agenda which prioritises citizens’ quality of life and the efforts to boost the destination’s appeal as an attractive place for living.
