Following extensive renovations, Al Seraiha Mosque in historic Al-Diriyah was officially reopened during a ceremony on June 11, under the patronage of H.R.H. Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, president, Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage (SCTH).

The occasion marked the progress of SCTH’s national Historical Mosques Caring Program, which aims to restore 34 mosques as part of the Historic Al Diriyah project, conducted in cooperation with partners and philanthropic donors.

The restoration and preservation of mosques is a government priority, with similar projects set to be extended to numerous locations across the region.
