In a bid to showcase authentic Emirati cuisine, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) is set to roll-out the Emirati Cuisine & Hospitality Capacity Building Programme, where all four- and five-star hospitality institutions across the emirate will feature and promote Emirati culture through its cuisine.

The initiative will establish a framework of regular training, monitoring and reviewing by TCA Abu Dhabi, in order to ensure that Emirati culinary items are featured in food and beverage outlets, while ensuring employees have the fundamental skills required to prepare regionally aspired dining with reference to its rich heritage.

TCA Abu Dhabi will also conduct year-round competitions for Best Emirati Culinary Promotion Programme and Best Chef for Emirati Cuisine
