The recently launched Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) will be organising the first edition of the annual ICCA Oman Meetings Association Expert Forum supporting Oman’s 2040 tourism strategy.
Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) has signed a OMR38 million (USD98.69 million) deal for the development financing of the JW Marriott-branded hotel in Muscat, scheduled to open in the end of this year.
Located within the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) precinct and part of phase one of the emerging Madinat Al Irfan urban development, the five-star property will boast 304 keys and will offer state-of-the-art food and beverage outlets, meeting facilities as well as a health and leisure club.
