The number of Indian tourists travelling to the GCC is expected to increase 81 percent from 5,4 million in 2018 to 9,8 million in 2024, growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 10 percent, according to the latest data published ahead of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2020.

Dubai, the UK and Singapore are the most preferred vegetarian-friendly destinations for non-meat eating Indian tourists, as revealed by Cox & King’s latest survey Top Vegetarian-Friendly Destinations and Preferences of Indian Vegetarian Outbound Travellers.

According to Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), the number of Indian visitors to the emirate during the first quarter of this year grew 35 percent, while the number of guests per nights taken by Indian tourists soared 47.9 percent year-on-year.
