More Travellers at QAIA

According to Airport International Group (AIG), Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) saw a 4.5 percent year-on-year increase in passenger traffic in November 2015.

A total of 447,610 travellers passed through the facility, pushing the year-to-date figure to 6,562,634 persons – a decline of 0.4 percent.

As for aircraft movements, it increased by almost one percent to reach 5,173, while year-to-date, aircraft movements dropped 2.6 percent.

“As Jordan’s prime gateway to the world, we look forward to welcoming an exceeding number of visitors from around the globe in the future, generating a positive effect on not only the tourism sector, but also the Kingdom’s economy as a whole,” said Kjeld Binger, CEO, AIG.
