The five-day camp, open to children aged eight to 13, is scheduled across two batches, from March 25 – 29 and April 01 – 05. Starting at Safari Village, each group is introduced to safety guidelines and learns how to pitch a tent, followed by a park tour.
Throughout the week, the children enjoy arts and crafts, wildlife documentary screenings and informative presentations, including a visit from a veterinarian. A day dedicated to celebrating the Year of Zayed features a talk on founding father of the UAE Sheikh Zayed and a tour of the park’s Arabian Village.
On the final day, the group is presented with certificates and giveaways, gathering for a buffet lunch before joining their families for a final park tour.
“The Children’s Spring Camp gives our younger guests the opportunity to learn more about the animal kingdom while enjoying an array of fun-filled activities,” commented Khalid Al Suwaidi, director, leisure facilities, Dubai Municipality.
