UAE and Tunisia Express Commitment to Enhance Cooperation

Dubai recently hosted a meeting between the UAE’s Ministry of Economy and H.E. Salma Al Lumi Al Raqeeq, minister, tourism and handicrafts, Tunisia.

During the meeting, H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, minister, Economy, UAE affirmed that bilateral relations between the UAE and Tunisia are flourishing and that both countries are keen on enhancing cooperation across vital economic sectors, including tourism and investment.

Al Mansoori added that the total volume of non-oil trade exchange between the two nations throughout 2016 touched over AED1.5 billion (USD415 million), achieving a growth of seven percent compared to 2015, which reflects the strength of their bilateral ties.

Al Mansoori added that the strategic location of both countries opens up tremendous potential for cooperation across priority sectors such as tourism, trade, investment and civil aviation.
