Costa Rica to Open Dubai Representative Office

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Dubai Chamber) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Costa Rican government for the Central American nation to open a representative office within the emirate.

The agreement supports the UAE’s and Costa Rica’s efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and facilitate trade and investment flows. In addition, it will enable Costa Rican business communities to expand their global footprint by leveraging Dubai’s strategic position to access markets across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

“The opening of Costa Rica’s representative office in Dubai is a positive development that will improve our economic relations with the country and the Latin America region,” remarked H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair, chairman, Dubai Chamber. “It will enable companies in Costa Rica and other Latin American nations to benefit from the competitive advantages offered by Dubai, and boost their trade with other parts of the world.”
