H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman, Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA), welcomed the joining of the initial group of elite governmental entities and multinational companies from the aviation sector in Dubai to the Future Aviation Lounge.

The initiative promotes dialogue and close cooperation among individuals and entities involved in Dubai’s aviation industry, allowing users to create their professional profiles, share scientific and practical ideas and suggestions, and stimulate joint action by creating internal groups and engaging in interactive discussions among members.

Al Maktoum expressed his confidence in the initiative, in line with the expectations of the increase in the share of the aviation sector to AED195 billion (USD53 billion) or 37.5 percent of Dubai’s GDP and providing around 745,000 jobs in 2020.
