At Cityscape Global, Nakheel Properties unveiled plans to launch six new residential, retail and hospitality developments at four of its communities in Dubai, worth AED3.2 billion (USD871 million).

Ali Rashid Lootah, chairman, Nakheel Properties, revealed, “We continue to deliver and diversify in line with government goals and our own business strategy. And while development remains our core business, we are focussing on growing our hospitality, retail and leasing divisions by creating a range of new hotels, resorts, food and beverage destinations, malls and tourists attractions across the city.”

The developer has awarded construction contracts to the tune of AED7 billion (USD2 billion) so far this year and expects the figure to exceed AED12 billion (USD3.3 billion) by the end of the year.
