Abu Dhabi has reported a significant 30 percent year-on-year jump in hotel bookings in June, boosted by successful Eid Al-Fitr holiday period.

The emirate therefore concluded the first half of this year (H1) with more than 2.25 million guests staying at its 165 establishments, up seven percent over H1 in 2016.

This indicates the ability of the destination to reach guest arrivals growth forecast for this year, while being well-positioned to maintain high demand during the summer season with eventful programme and activities, as confirmed by H.E. Saif Saeed Ghobash, director general, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority.
