Nadine El Assaad Al Bulushi has been appointed as hotel manager for Kempinski Hotel Muscat. As the first Omani female hotel manager and an experienced professional hotelier, El Assaad Al Bulushi has proven to be a creative, efficient leader who believes that the success of an organisation comes from a competent and innovative team. 

El Assaad Al Bulushi brings over two decades of experience in hotel operations to her new role with Kempinski Hotel Muscat, starting her career as front office agent at Crowne Plaza Muscat and later being promoted to assistant front office manager. 

 El Assaad Al Bulushi next joined the Grand Hyatt Muscat, where she occupied several managerial positions in the rooms’ division. During her tenure with Hyatt Corporation, she supported the openings of Hyatt Regency Taba, Egypt, and Park Hyatt Dubai, UAE, as part of the opening task force.

 In 2006, El Assaad Al Bulushi made the move from her room division background to the position of director of revenue, and, afterwards, director of sales and marketing with Radisson Hotel Group. As part of her career with the Radisson Hotel Group, she supported the opening of Radisson Blu hotels in South Africa, as well as providing regional support for the hotels in Ethiopia, Libya, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Later, she moved on to a cluster role as EAM and director of revenue at Radisson Blu Muscat and Sohar. 

 

El Assaad Al Bulushi joined Kempinski Hotel Muscat as executive assistant manager in January of 2019, where she has managed to understand and fully commit to every DNA value in a way that is uniquely Kempinski. She created traditions in the work environment, showed entrepreneurial performance and proved how people-oriented she can be even with our smallest guests and why even those just joining Kempinski have a passion for European luxury.

Jazeera Airways recently announced the launch of service to the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, offering direct flights between Kuwait and Dhaka as well as transit flights to cities in the Middle East. 

Served on the Airbus A320neo aircraft, the airline will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and will operate flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Kuwait and Wednesdays and Thursdays from Dhaka.

 Rohit Ramachandran, CEO, Jazeera Airways said, “We are extremely pleased to be able to open up a route to Dhaka as we climb back out of the difficult times we have all been through. It shows the strength of our airline that we are able to expand our network at this time.  Jazeera Airways appointed the Galaxy Group in Bangladesh to handle local sales. Managing Director Ahmed Yusuf Walid said, “We are delighted to partner with Jazeera Airways. We see a huge opportunity for flights to Kuwait but also connecting our customers to Saudi Arabia and other destinations in the region.’’

 

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain had resumed its direct flights to and from the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, Muscat which commenced on 4 October 04.

The iconic ship will chart three to 14 night voyages around Europe before making her way through Asia to Australia to end the season.
