Developed under eco-friendly principles, Marriott International announced the opening of Element Kuala Lumpur, marking the brand's Southeast Asian debut.

Designed by Foster+Partners, the 252-key property incorporates open-plan studios along with single and multi-room suites with city skyline and hill views, each with spa-inspired bathrooms, alongside intuitive technology such as daylight glare control to filter appropriate amounts of sunlight.

In collaboration with IB Hotel Management, the hotel is housed within Ilham Tower, making it one of the tallest eco-conscious hotels which also boasts Green Building Index certification.

Sustainability initiatives include a rainwater harvesting system, indoor air quality CO2 monitor and energy-efficient LED lighting.
