For the first time in Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport’s history, Emirates announced it is to operate a special one-off Airbus A380 service to Lebanon’s capital on March 29.

According to data provided by CAPA – Centre for Aviation, passenger traffic in May at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport, showed a drop of 2.8 percent compared to the same month in 2016, while the amount of cargo handled by the airport rose 4.7 percent to reach 8,904 tonnes.

As part of its strategy to expand medium-haul flights, Aigle Azur has recently announced the launch of its brand new service between Paris Orly Airport and Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport, effective from June 23, using Airbus A320 and A319 aircrafts.
