Gulf Air and Tamkeen Enter Training Agreement

Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, and the Kingdom’s semi-autonomous government agency providing private sector training, Tamkeen, signed a joint cooperation agreement.

The agreement aims to enhance opportunities for the training and employment of Bahrainis within the Kingdom’s aviation sector and has been tailored to Gulf Air’s requirements.

Krešimir Kučko, CEO, Gulf Air, and Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi, CEO, Tamkeen, signed the cooperation agreement at the airline’s Muharraq headquarters.

Also present, Waleed Abdulhameed Al Alawi, deputy CEO, Gulf Air, spoke of the airline’s longstanding relationship with Tamkeen, “One of Gulf Air’s goals is to increase nationalisation of our staff, thereby building a skilled Bahraini aviation workforce. This latest agreement underscores the continuous role Tamkeen plays in supporting the success and development of the Kingdom’s national carrier.”
