RJ Leases Aircraft to Meet Summer Demand

Royal Jordanian (RJ) leased three aircraft for a limited period in response of the remarkable growth in demand on bookings during the peak summer season.

As per the terms of the lease, the lessor’s logo and livery are maintained due to the limited leasing period.

Two of the aircraft are Airbus A319, leased from Pakistani Shaheen Air, and are to operate as part of RJ’s fleet between June 06 and September 06. The all-economy aircrafts seat 149 passengers each.

The third plane is a Boeing B737-300 leased from South African Star Air. It will operate from June 06 until the end of the year. The 126-seat aircraft has a two-class configuration with seating capacity of 114 in economy and 12 in business class.
