SAUDIA to Operate Flights to Vienna

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) is due to start operating a new four-time-weekly route from Jeddah and Riyadh to Vienna, as of June 16.

The total journey time between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Vienna will be under five hours and 30 minutes non-stop from Riyadh.

“SAUDIA is pleased to be re-introducing Vienna to the airline’s global destination route map after a stop in services in 2010,” commented Abdulrahman Altayeb, vice president, corporate communications, SAUDIA. “Vienna joins a range of other new routes to launch this summer season, and is a city that is popular with travellers both for leisure and business.”

Guests flying to Vienna can access entertainment options right from their own devices, with onboard streaming from the SAUDIA mobile app, and USB sockets at every seat, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity onboard.

The flag carrier of Saudi Arabia is expected to also commence new services to Moscow, Malaga and Izmir this coming June.
