SAUDIA Grow Turkey Network with Izmir Service

Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, SAUDIA, launched four-weekly direct flights from Jeddah to Izmir, Turkey.

With a duration of three hours and 25 minutes, flights operate on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, using Airbus A320 aircraft with a seat capacity of 116 seats, 20 for business class and 96 for economy class.

Flights are scheduled to depart King Abdulaziz International Airport at 10:10 and arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 13:35. Flights depart Izmir at 15:05 to arrive back home at 18:30 (all times local).

Having launched on May 09, the new service will, from an anticipated date of June 10, be complimented by three flights a week from Riyadh, creating a daily flights schedule between Saudi Arabia and Izmir.

Izmir is SAUDIA’s third Turkish destination after Istanbul and the capital Ankara. Turkey's third largest city, with a population of more than four million, Izmir is located on Turkey's west coast on the Aegean Sea, and is considered a gateway to other tourist towns including Marmaris and Bodrum.
