Qatar Airways’ Airbus A350 Begins Atlanta Service

Qatar Airways has announced that it now services the Atlanta market with its Airbus A350-900, claiming to bring a new level of aerodynamics, design and advanced technology for international travellers from Atlanta.

The airline operates daily flights from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and is said to be the only carrier to offer non-stop flights between Atlanta and Qatar. The flight is to connect corporate and leisure travellers market to more than 150 destinations worldwide via the airline’s home and hub, Hamad International Airport, Doha, Qatar.

Commenting on the new service, H.E. Akbar Al Baker, group CEO, Qatar Airways, enthused, “With our extensive network and Doha-based hub, we offer geographic advantages other airlines cannot; conveniently connecting passengers to the Far East, Africa and the Middle East.”

The state-of-the-art aircraft features 36 business class seats and a 247 economy class seating capacity. In addition to being Wi-Fi enabled, passengers can enjoy more than 4,000 entertainment options on Qatar Airways’ Oryx One in-flight entertainment system.
