The flag carrier of Iran confirmed the news on its official Twitter page, citing Routes Online, an aviation route development company. According to Iran Air, services to Budapest and Malmö had previously been scheduled for March 31.
Now, once-a-week flights to Budapest are anticipated to begin on April 14, and once-a-week flights to Malmö are now scheduled to begin on June 02.
Both flights are anticipated to depart from Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport. The Budapest service will be carried out on an Airbus A300, and the Malmö service on an Airbus A330.
As noted within its CAPA - Centre for Aviation profile, Iran Air operates passenger and cargo services from its key hubs at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport and Tehran Mehrabad Airport. It offers an extensive domestic network, and provides access to international destinations across the Middle East, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
