SalamAir Reveals Multan Flight Destination

After securing final clearances from Pakistan’s aviation authorities, Omani low-cost carrier SalamAir has announced plans to operate three direct flights to Multan from Muscat, starting February 08.

As SalamAir’s third destination in Pakistan, Multan will complement the airline’s current flights to Sialkot and Karachi. SalamAir is exploring other underserved destinations in Pakistan including Islamabad, Lahore and Faisalabad, as well as increasing its flight frequencies on current routes, according to Mohamed Ahmed, CEO, SalamAir.

“The Pakistani community makes up about 13 percent of local expatriates working in Oman, it is therefore no surprise that this route has been one of the highest in demand,” outlined Ahmed. With the addition of Multan, SalamAir’s network now includes Muscat, Salalah, Suhar, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Multan, Karachi and Sialkot.
