Qatar Airways has inaugurated its latest Middle Eastern destination with a nonstop flight from Hamad International Airport to Oman’s Sohar International Airport.

As a part of the airline’s dynamic expansion, the new schedule brings total number of weekly flights to Oman to 59.

The three weekly services are being operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft boasting the carrier’s service and amenities, which earned the company the title of The Airline of the Year by Skytrax 2017 World Airline Awards.

H.E. Akbar Al Baker, CEO, Qatar Airways Group, said, “We launched services to Oman nearly 17 years ago, and ever since, we have added additional frequencies on a yearly basis to accommodate demand for increased capacity to this charming country […].”
