Aiming to accommodate the increased travel demand to and from Sri Lanka, Qatar Airways has recently announced the addition of a fourth daily flight from Hamad International Airport to Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport as of August 01.

Additionally, two of the four daily flights will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, to boost capacity and support Sri Lanka in achieving its target of welcoming 2.5 million tourists this year.

Commenting on the upcoming launch, H.E. Akbar Al Baker, group CEO, Qatar Airways, revealed, “The additional frequency will provide passengers with even greater flexibility and convenience when planning their next trip with Qatar Airways.”
