AAR to Support flydubai’s New Fleet

Ahead of planned delivery of 100 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft by 2023, flydubai extended its strategic partnership with AAR to provide complex flight-hour component support for the new inventory.

With the airline set to become what is said to be the first customer of the specific aircraft in the region, the collaboration will enable AAR to utilise the carrier’s extensive global supply chain network, including its new parts warehouse in Dubai, while the airline will benefit from improved fuel and operational efficiency through the aviation provider’s services.

“We have been supporting flydubai’s current fleet since September 2016, and it is a privilege to be entrusted with this new opportunity,” commented David Storch, CEO, AAR.
