To further enhance passenger’s experience to and from major key hubs, Emirates has recently announced that all of its flights to Spain will be operated with Airbus A380 aircrafts.

In addition to the existing double daily A380 service to Barcelona, the airline will upgauge its Dubai – Madrid schedule from September 01. Currently operated with a Boeing 777, the itinerary to the Spanish capital will soon offer 14 private suites in first class, 76 business class seats and 399 in economy class.

The carrier, which has also been a sponsor of Real Madrid since 2011, also operates dedicated cargo flights from Barcelona and Zaragoza. In 2016, the carrier transported more than 70,000 tonnes of goods from the European country.
