BTEA Concludes its Promotional UK Roadshow

Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) concluded its UK roadshow, which kicked off in Manchester, followed by London and Windsor.

The aim of the roadshow was to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain as a leading tourist destination offering many distinguished tourist offers in order to develop the local tourism sector.

The Kingdom's delegation was headed by BTEA officials and included representatives from Gulf Air, a number of hotels and travel agents. Discussions took place concerning the Kingdom’s leading tourism offerings to the UK market with several travel agencies, and established joint agreements with tour operators to increase the number of tourist groups to the destination.

“The roadshow aimed to further position Bahrain on the global tourism map,” said Yousef Al Khan, director, tourism marketing and promotions, BTEA.

BTEA also recently concluded another roadshow in Russia which comes in line with the BTEA’s strategic outreach programme to promote the tourism brand Ours. Yours. aimed at showcasing Bahrain as the ideal tourism destination to the regional and international markets and further promote the Kingdom’s touristic offering.
