I was first hired by Japan Airlines (JAL) Montreal in 1995 as an inside sales representative.
I had recently come back home from a six month journey around the world after a three year stay in Japan on an exchange and teaching program.
Having lived in and travelled across Asia on several occasions, I had firsthand knowledge of many destinations served by JAL and knew Japan well, which was a major asset for my new employer.
